I’ve been listening to so much amazing music lately due to luck and the youtube recommendation algorithm, and then today I turned on an old favorite by Praxis , Transmutation Funk is the name of the album I believe, which led straight to this piece of gold. Featuring Buckethead as a guitarist, Praxis was my first introduction to the magic that is Buckethead. Here is a excellent classical album played by an absolute virtuoso on the guitar at the peak of his abilities. Being most assuredly one of his finer albums, this album, unlike some other artist’s works, needs to be heard in its entirety. Listen to the whole album and be amazed.
This new EP is showcasing some new futuristic sounds and some classic tribal rhythms, while keeping the techno to the grindstone.
